DRAMA
Creative Movement
  • is able to relax by moving different parts of the body
  • can walk, in different situations e.g. Blind-folded, through puddles etc
  • can create different shapes with arms and legs
  • is able to repeat simple movements in reverse
  • is able to form complex movements of patters and sounds (e.g. An orchestra)
Speech/Voice
  • is able to express himself/herself through movement and different voice intonations, and showing different emotional qualities e.g. Crying, in pain, laughing etc
  • is able to vary the meaning of a word or phrase by changing the tone, dialect, pitch and modulation 
  • produces clear and unaffected pronunciation through reading, poetry recitation and tongue twisters
Improvisation
  • is able to improvise different situions e.g. Meeting a friend, feeling sick etc
  • is able to imitate characters using speech, body language and facial expressions
  • is able to put together a number of characters, in particular situations, e.g. A crowd in a stadium
Interpretation
  • is able to work on a character using props, costumes and make up
  • is able to study short texts and recite them from memory
  • is able to create a scene or a script and interpreting it
  • is aware that characters in a situation have a status level, but this can change according to the development of the situation.
MUSIC
  • shows interest in the song being taught
  • is able to memorise the words of the song
  • is able to identify high and low sounds and to sing them accordingly
  • uses appropriate facial expressions according to the mood of the song
  • uses appropriate movements according to the mood of the song
  • is aware that he/she is singing with others
  • is able to keep the time or rhythm using a percussion instrument
ART & CRAFT
  • is able to communicate and express himself/herself through drawing
  • is able to make simple structures in 3-D with some idea of form
  • is aware of the variety and quality of colours in the environment
  • able to make regular and irregular patterns and use them in his/her drawings
  • is able to create pictures, models from imagination and observation
  • is able to work in a group – practices group thinking
  • is able to name different techniques and different tools used in sculpture, weaving, pottery, engraving etc.
